I hope all of our Hoosier subscribers survived Tuesday’s line of severe thunderstorms unscathed, and with a minimum of property damage. Here at the HoosLeft homestead, we had lots of down branches, but no serious damage. Our neighbor’s brand new, month-old fence can’t say the same. The only casualties on this side of the street include the entire contents of our refrigerator, and this week’s episode of the podcast, as we’ve been without power for over 48 hours now. Editing will re-commence when the lights come back on, and I hope to publish this weekend. In light of the Indiana GOP choosing MAGA extremist fundamentalist pastor Micah Beckwith as their candidate for Lieutenant Governor, I’ve got an important interview with professor of sociology at IU-Indianapolis and expert on Christian nationalism, Dr. Andrew Whitehead, lined up for y’all. I can’t wait to share it with you. In the meantime, be safe and love each other, Indiana.
