Most people do not realize in Indiana, Democratic Party leadership and key roles like Secretary of State are chosen by delegates, not by primary election.
If you want to have a say at who leads our party and who runs for office, you have to fill out a CAN 37 form to become a delegate or a precinct chairperson. It costs zero dollars, but the power it gives you to move Indiana forward is huge.
The deadline to file is at 12 noon on Friday, February 6th, not a minute later. Filing starts this Wednesday, January 7th. Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate. Let’s build some power this year.
